Privacy policy
How Livreiro handles information from people who visit this site and use the app.
Last updated: October 2026
This document is an initial summary and will be reviewed before the app officially launches.
What data we collect
This site does not ask you to sign up, has no forms, and does not collect personal data from visitors.
In the iOS and Android version, Livreiro uses your Google account only to identify you inside the app. We never have access to your password.
Reading data
Lists, progress, reading goal, and favorite genres are tied to your profile in the app. This site does not store that kind of information.
You can clear this data at any time by signing out and removing the app local data.
Third-party services
To show books, covers, and details, the app queries Open Library, a public bibliographic database. Requests are made with the name of the application and do not include personal information.
Authentication uses Google sign-in services and is subject to Google own privacy policy.
Cookies and preferences
This site only uses browser storage to remember your language preference and your light or dark theme choice.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or behavioral profiles.
Your rights
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law, you can request access to, correction of, portability of, or deletion of the data linked to your profile.
To exercise these rights, write to our contact email explaining your request. We will reply within the legal deadline.
Account and data deletion
You can ask us to delete your Livreiro account at any time, with no justification needed, by writing to our contact email. Please use the same address as your Google account so we can find your profile.
We confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, replying to the same email.
Records we are required by law to keep (for example, tax or support records) are stored only for the legally required period and are not used for any other purpose.
Deleting your Livreiro account does not delete your Google account — for that, use your Google account settings.
What gets erased with the account
- The Livreiro account and the Google login linked to it
- Lists, reading progress, reading goal, and favorite genres
- Any other usage data associated with your profile
